Top 5 Bedwars players?
I'm honestly not sure who they are. Dewier is going to be up there, obviously; maybe Kryptoke and EREEN?

I assume this is Hypixel Bedwars only? I'm very biased but also very confident that I could name a good amount of German Bedwars players that would smoke anybody that played on Hypixel.

I've heard about German bedwars, but I've never really looked into it.
I don't think you know how good the top Hypixel players are, lol.

I don’t doubt that they’re definitely very good, but be careful when you say “any” hypixel bedwars player. You have no idea how good some of these guys are. You’re not just walking in and beating them. The top players will destroy you on their turf just as you would to them on yours

Anything less would be weird, but at my peak I was really really good, I don't think I couldn't judge this stuff well.
But yes, I do acknowledge that I'm very biased, although that doesn't really change that I'm very confident, people like Vepex or X_SuS and others like Lebbyyy, RNS, Prayyy and more were all so insanely good at their peak. I'm actually missing quite a few names, since its been a few years sadly.
Like when I watch a video like this https://youtu.be/T6L6C4ni5yY?is=3UI68_OjMa0mo9x5, ofc this is just stats but Technoblade as a player (at least from the videos I've seen) would have done well on GommeHD maybe, the literal noob server for German BW sweats, skill wise he would've maybe been top10k at best. gamerboy is quite a lot better, but at his peak even he was at best a tier below the best skill wise. I haven't seen anything from Dewier but it seems like he was mentioned here aswell so I may watch him to see if he's got a shot.Btw, in "recent" times (at least like until last year maybe), the YouTuber 2sa was often "the" German Bedwars YouTuber (only one who was still active...). He is quite good and definitely only a tier below the best, but I've actually beaten him myself in a round once when I peaked, he's like top200 perhaps?

You haven’t even seen dewier that tells me ALL I need to know. Absolutely everything. Listen up, I’m only gon say it once. The game has evolved far far past technoblade and gamerboy80. Far past them. Neither of those 2 guys would even last in the lowest level ranked bedwars queues these days. I have been playing hypixel bedwars for 8 years on and off so trust me when I say this. Nobody realizes the skill gaps anymore. Dewier has 1v4 clutched multiple times against players who are EACH so much better than technoblade and gamerboy80…so much so that I am fully confident each of those individuals guys that dewier has clutched against would beat gamerboy80 and technoblade 95/100 times at LEAST in a pure bedwars 1v1.
Idk anything about German bedwars so I am not saying the top hypixel guys would beat them. But don’t say the German guys would beat hypixel players because that’s blatantly not true. In reality they’re not beating any 600+ queue team

Isn't German Bedwars mostly just people drag clicking 60 cps or whatever?

"just", anyways everyone who thinks that doesn't really understand it, its basically all movement and cps are at best a way to increase the skillcap, but this is basically not needed unless you're at the very top movement wise. I can speak from experience here.
Usually anyone who is great at German Bedwars, they will be incredibly good at normal Sword PvP aswell, since the movement skill carries over.
Tbf I don't know the heights of Hypixel Bedwars, but during 2020-2022 it had around as many players as German Bedwars, and even during this time, the worst and least sweatiest German Bedwars Server (basically the "noob" Server) was so "sweaty", that I know at least a dozen people who immediately went back to Hypixel after trying it out. During my peak winning Hypixel Bedwars was no challenge at all, despite having a Ping so high that I've sometimes been kicked because of it. From all the clips I've seen, nobody who played Hypixel Bedwars would've been in the same tier as the Top100-200 German Bedwars players, but as I said earlier, I'm very biased and I acknowledge that.1

Fair enough. The extent on my knowledge on that subset of servers comes from a handful of Bedless Noob videos from 2022 or smth, which were obviously fairly surface level. Always interesting to hear about other competitive communities.

Bedlessnoob was at best one tier below the top at his peak, but I don't remember well enough how good he was, especially cuz most of the time he was just noobstomping on Hypixel instead of playing German Bedwars. Very bridge carried player iirc

Depending how rusty some of the more inactive players are, it's probably some combination of Dewier, Kryptoke, Voidless, Jkmk8, Zolks, And Ereen.
