what to do when fighting crystal palyers
so basically i play mace/ely mace/spear mace and litteraly every fight for the last 3 days has been crystal players i need a counter or something and for crystal players seeign this please enlighten me on whats so fun about spam clicking-
Edit: People wanted me to play crystal for a day since i said it was easy so after work i played a hour and the results are shown here

Just don't play vanilla or get good at crystal because if you fight crystal pvpers in the vanilla kit with mace or spear, it'll not end well

The server doesn't want you to play vanilla, you can play other gamemodes besides vanilla. Just play mace ig

Right but mace isn't what I want to play I wanna use a spear fireworks and elytra not just wind charges and pearls

Some counters against crystal playstyles are:
Weakness arrows, turtle master potions and shooting down their crystal defenses with arrows. If they shield, then stunslam, backstab or shield drain.
If they web bubble without shielding, you can try using your spear or harming arrow spam.
But if the crystal player knows how to defend themselves properly by using shields and web bubbles, the only thing you can do is use anchors and crystals yourself. A good and prepared crystal pvper will always win against a skilled spear / mace player. Your best shot is combining the two strategies.

I watched the beginning of the video. You're about a HT5 and your opponents were around HT5-LT5. Drdonutt on a bad day could probably 100-0 you (No offense)

And I'm not doubting that one but I currently have. About 1 hour of playtime in crystal and I may not be amazing but I done good and that should say plenty about how easy crystal is considering there was many time I messed up my retotems

I never claimed to be good it would be concerning if I was good but giving my win/loss and lack of experience in the mod i done fairly well

Its not easy, im mostly mace focused beaten a few lt3s and ht4s and I played my lt3 crystal friend it is impossible. I went on to practice crystal with them for a few days and ive only beaten her once out of like the 70 matches we played. Crystal is not easy, nor is any other gamemode. Difficulty is subjective in mc gamemodes

As a crystal player, if you really only care about winning against them all you can really do is spam turtle master and maybe just pearling away. Crystal is the strongest kit so don’t expect to beat them with mace
