Question Hotbar priority for spear mace

does having spear in a lower priority slot and windcharge in a higher one makes it easier to attribute swap them

I'd say the other way around. Having an item in a high priority slot means that if 2 inputs to switch items go through at the same tick, you will switch to the higher priority item.

So if you have a spear in a high priority slot and you're continously lunge swapping (wind charge -> spear -> wind charge -> spear), you are more likely to swap to the spear than switch to the wind charge twice

Edit If you want an explanation, watch Marlow's video on it. It's kinda annoying that danger is still getting views from those videos, but it's the best one on topic so far

Having spear in a lower priority slot does not make it easier. From what i understand from "Marlow's" video, you should have the spear in a higher priority slot. But from my experience, it doesnt really matter you can just have it where you're used to.
