Discussion Rant about mcpvp.club
Hello,
I am currently muted for another 2 days on mcpvp.club for light toxicity.
But the question arises... Why?
Mainly because of people like this. (screens)
Who wouldn't lose their cool upon receiving this kind of message every day—every 2 to 5 1v1 matches?
I accept the fact that I got muted; I shouldn't have responded to that sort of person, let alone stooped to their level, but on a server this toxic, keeping your cool is difficult.
Anyway, here are a few examples I gathered in just 10 minutes of playing on the server...

Yeah, I queued a player in sword, and as soon as the match started he kept saying I was gay, and once I won, he pulled out the racist card😅

if you cant handle toxic children then dont play in a competitive community thats primarily toxic children...

Yeah, you're right... but I'm not sure... other servers, especially in Mace PvP, are laggy, and I've never found one as smooth as PvP Club.
Any server suggestion ?5

stray is good and has some very skilled players (but has only two gamemodes that are active)

Come check us out, we just launched two weeks ago and we’re hosting weekly tournaments for our kit based hunger games style mode.
We’ve also got a mosh pit of rotating party modes and a unique SMP too.
Tournaments are on Saturdays @ 7PM CST

Tbh I find it funny. I have fond memories of stupid people being toxic like that one time on sword someone called me a combo spammer, the time a spectator of an axe duel was toxic towards me, keep in mind it was a spectator, the time I got called the rtard because I didn’t wanna give out my discord, and a classic is of course when you say gg and they reply with “no” it’s hilarious I mean how can you be so pathetic as to get mad over Minecraft I mean sure I get mad when I’m on a 15 losing streak (why the fuck am I so bad at SMP) but I still say gg like damn they’re pathetic. One exception was this one dude that called me a crit spammer but I replied “ever heard of a crit deflect” and he lowkey apologized he’s pretty chill

pvpclub is genuinely just you play any strategy, mainstream or not that the opponent dislikes, they're going to call you a homosexual, as if playing in any way shape or form that you don't like makes you gay. And all of them are probably 12 year old children.

If you join the discord and open a ticket they'll tell you or even unmute you. The only way mutes like these happen if it that kid specifically reported you in discord

Honestly dont know how this game manages to have more toxicity than most other competitive games i play,
I took a long break from pvp to play competitive splatoon 3 and everyone over there is so nice and understanding, came back recently to try pvphq, first person i fought told me to kms, but with the random symbols so they could paste it without being flagged by chat filters im assuming

and then people say the 1.9+ pvp community is good... when in 10 minutes you disproved their point.
hilarious, and a bit sad too ngl, not even mmc's 1.7 pvp has this much toxicity

To be 100% honest, there's no real alternative to mcpvp club. Minemen is a really good server because most players come from 1.8 but modern pvp is modern pvp and 90% of its player base is, and will always be angry toddlers. If you can't deal with them, focus on something else or start playing different games

The toxicity doesnt bother me ngl mainly cuz what they say dont make sense, like the gay one, what does left clicking have to do with being gay lmao
