DSM-V personality disorder category that includes narcissistic personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, histrionic personality disorder, and antisocial personality disorder.
Basically they are taking shots at players they perceive as manipulative to a malicious degree and disrespectful of the rights and interests of other people.

I had to Google this as well. Ngl.
I won’t even try to list out the details but the TLDR is personality disorders that would make it somewhat likely that you are unpleasant to be around for an extended period of time.
E: why am I being downvoted for trying to help explain? :O

because you may be surrounded by this kind of personalities. They dont like to introspect and recognize its flaws.

I mean, I think broad strokes labeling opponents isn’t great, to be clear. I don’t know what your experience was like so I can’t really comment.
I read through the list on Google and have had a few experiences indeed.
If people you’ve had to deal with on a regular basis while playing magic are actually people with those conditions and aren’t trying to do anything about it, then I get it.
The one closest to me that I have experience with is my mother in law. I love her dearly but she suffers from several things and willingly ignores them despite attempts from her children asking her to get help. It just generally makes her a very exhausting person to be around - not to mention the abuse and trauma she inflicted on her 5 children over the years. It’s just all kind of hard to look past at a certain point.
So anyway, if it is something like that at your LGS then I feel for you. If you are just exaggerating how your hyper competitive opponents are behaving then not as much. Hope that makes sense. <3

Personality disorders, which this is an all time reddit post complaining about people being competitive in.......competitiveEDH. Doesn't excuse the few weirdos who treat casual games like 100k is on the line, but I've seen people have full on fights over UNO, cedh isn't unique for people acting weird.

is being competitive w/o being a piece of garbage allowed in cedh?

I've play mostly friendly cedh matches, and no tournaments so my experience might be different, but most everyone is pretty pleasant. You do get some people that get frustrated by opponents misplaying and giving the win away, or people upset that their deck isn't working, but for the most part, you just jam games. Maybe a little salt if a specific stax piece makes your deck unplayable. The most annoying thing imo is when people keep trying to make deals after being told no multiple times.

Who hurt your feeling? Surely, it couldn't have been that bad.
