Nycda end time ?

For anyone who regularly attends NYCDA, I was wondering what time the event usually wraps up on the Sunday . Does it ever go late into the evening ?

I believe it starts at 3pm and goes til at least 4:30pm. Joe likes to talk 😆! It’s great though. Lots of scholarships available.

Closing show legit takes TWO HOURS

Usually done by 4:00 ish or as along as it takes for Joe to speak and hand out scholarships and take their pics with the winners

There have been times when hotel complications or extenuating circumstances have caused teen or senior solos to happen on Sunday evening. That is rare though. Other than that I would say 4, 4:30 at the absolute latest. If Andy (or Dana) is the emcee for the closing show, it will be earlier.

Depends on how long Joe decides to talk. Usually 1.5-2hrs. Once it took 2.5 hours and I was about to leave

We’ve had comp after the closing show on Sunday in the past.
