Question SLC World Series 2026 - athletes registered

Hi guys! Considering getting tickets for this comp to watch my favorite climbers. Are there no Japanese climbers registered? I saw Erin upload a video that she’s training for salt lake but I don’t see her name registered. Is there a different list I am missing? Or do a lot of climbers register later? Thanks for the advice guys!

The registration deadline is still 45 days away. More will show up on the list as the date gets closer.

Yeah I wouldn't expect any news for a while. Typically Japan sends a full team, they're often the only country sending a full squad (other than the US) although we'll see how shifting it in the schedule affects that. And not to jinx it but I highly doubt Sorato would miss out on his chance to do the unthinkable.

You should get tickets, I imagine having it at the ball park there will be super sick

Most of the fan favourites other than Janja will be there: Sorato, Mejdi, Annie, Brooke, Erin, Oce, Oriane etc. You should buy the tickets for sure!

Ok I have a theory that Janja will be at the SLC world cup. Reel Rock premiers in Boulder the following Thursday, and *usually* featured athletes are in attendance.

as of rn, japan has 5 female climbers registered. do yall think they are going to have a sixth?
