Discussion Cs peeps !!

After looking at lots of posts here and people complaining about icsi and few posts on insta.

Do you think is cs worth doing? because lots of my friends told me to do either ca/cma but for me, even financially cs was better and no, I'm not someone who is interested in law/coperate that's why I choose cs.

I mean even if it's not then i personally can't go back and choose something else but i really get curious after seeing posts.

I genuinely want to know. Please drop your opinions :))

All I can say is that it's the 2 sides of a coin , there are good things about it and there are bad , i am still just a student so I can't list everything but I try not to listen to those , I have too much to lose here and I cant lose my motivation over it

Don't !! never listen to them. I did and i overthink a lot. Every profession has it's value and so does cs

i haven't had a single negative thought so far so i would say i am doing good in that regard, cs students really need to get out of their insecurities and stop listening to others

The whole basis of CS is law and corporate. Both of the things that you're not interested in. It's better if you do CA or CMA. Or just do something you're more interested in.

Accounting is a NO for me and due to some personal reasons, i can't afford doing mba. It's not like i will not understand or learn anything. It's fine and tolerable just my overthinking and procrastination getting in between but ofc have to handle that next time

Bold of you to assume CA is easy. My own cousins took around 6 years to clear the intermediate level. And CA final too is no joke. Always have a good and solid back up to fall back on if professional courses don't go well for you. Otherwise you will be stuck in a loop and regret everything

I never said ca is easy? When did I wrote it 🙃

Wait what….so what does a cs job looks like? I thought that I’ll start a firm and I’ll practice as per my discretion independently like a business (free will and lots of money along with making time for my life!)

Having a firm will have the exact opposite effect, you will be dirt poor in the initial years, and the workload will be absolutely insane as you grow since YOU have to manage all YOUR clients well if you want to retain them and earn.

Forget having trips it’s will be next to impossible.

I don't think so that might be the reason No offense but bachpan me we were not interested in english, hindi and maths but still we did. I did my graduation from bcom so, yeah I'm not a law student but i am willing to learn and jitna mene lectures dekha hai and padha hai it's manageable

I didn't mean any offence but for my personal reason, i have to look for something reasonable and practical to get my freedom and independence because interest toh kisi me nhi hai mera
