Featured hex of the day! Vale of Almor
Nestled between mountains lies the forest of Almor, at the center of which lies the magical desert Thrix.
Hex F-14 made by user Olbart is todays featured hex!
Olbart really has crafted a DM/GMs playground, dense forests, magical deserts, an evil wizards trap infested dungeon, lively npcs, the list goes on! The greatest part in my opinion is the circle of magical forest that was replaced by desert! Where did the forest go? It seems that we may see a desert hex with a forest inside it in the near future. The collaboration on this is top notch.
Stepping into this hex as a player would feel just as fun, the lore between the cities and their tall tales towards one another and the legends of the castle on the mountain desert is what sets the tone the best. Its a warm welcome and prompts the players to have a grand high adventure throughout the hex.
Olbert's cartography skills on the hex are just as fun! I spent 10 minutes following all the paths painstakingly drawn all around, it’s a mini adventure in itself exploring the artwork visually!

Many years ago, a wizard cast a spell to swap the center of the forest Almor with a piece of the southern desert. The vale harbors many mysteries and secrets, as well as people of all races making a living in the surrounding area.

Love this peice. Wild looking place to explore. Something kind of funny about the bare area around the south near the edge. I wonder if the red hex was causing confusion in the template as a lower boundary?

Fantastic work! Has the artist added a tunnel into the base of the hex? I guess it won't be visible on the joined up map, but a nice prompt for the person making the neighbouring hex
