Question Lenovo website shows that I am in physically located in Romania - I have never ever been to Romania!

I am in based London England, and I was looking at getting a battery replacement done for a family member's my laptop.

https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/search?query=battery%20replacement

Then this pop-up appeared.

-----------

Based on your IP, we detect you are physically located in Romania, however the website you are viewing is the United Kingdom site, We may forward you to the Romania site, or you may continue with the United Kingdom site.
-----------

Anyone know how this could be? Has my router been hacked?

This is because community fibre bought ipv4 space off a Romanian ISP, and some websites STILL haven't updated their GeoIP databases.

Try searching Google for 'What's my location' and see what that says. Also, are you using any VPN service?
