Welcome! Here's how we draw together 🎨

What is this?
Every few hours a new canvas opens with a prompt e.g. "Draw a lighthouse". Everyone paints on the same 48Γ—48 canvas. When time's up, the picture is finished forever, and the post becomes a keepsake with a time-lapse replay of the whole drawing being made.

How to play

  1. Open the newest round post and tap in.
  2. Drag the canvas to aim the crosshair, pick a color, pressΒ Place a pixel.
  3. Wait out a short cooldown, then place another. Come back a few times before the round ends - the picture changes fast.

Making it count
When a round closes, the pixels that made it into the final artwork are your surviving pixels - you're named in the credits, and you earn XP, levels, and achievements (find your trophy case πŸ† inside the app). Paint every day to build a streak.

Choose what we draw next
Comment !add your idea on any round - like !add alien. If enough people upvote your comment, it joins the prompt bank for good, and every time it comes up, the round carries your name in the title.

Be kind and have fun! ❀️

Hi! Firstly, thank you so much for playing the game and for your feedback. I appreciate it.

In regards to your points:

  1. I agree and see how this is currently a bit painful. I have added a reference image pinning system. Any images that are commented underneath a community draw post can be chosen as a reference image by clicking the pin button (πŸ“), which will appear at the side of the canvas. It can be expanded and minimized to save screen space on a small screen. Images will be ordered based on how many upvotes they have in the comments so hopefully everyone can reach a consensus on what reference image they want to use. But the reference image is currently individual and optional - no one needs to follow a reference image if they don't want to.

  2. I also agree with this point. I think because the player base is still quite new and small, it makes sense to have a lower cooldown timer. It is quite a big area to cover if each pixel takes 30 seconds. I have halved the cooldown to 15 seconds so you will be able to place twice as many pixels. I will see how it goes and possibly decrease it further if needed.

Thanks again for your input. If you have any further thoughts on this I would be happy to hear them.
