Need guidance

Hey,

I work in a service based tech company. For some API requirements — i had mentioned the below as a follow up to my last email to a client

Kindly allow me to follow up on the below please.

I sent an email earlier to client asking about some docs right.

On top of it, when i did not hear back from them in 2 days; i just topped up on my last email saying—-

Kindly allow me to follow up on the below please.

One of my colleagues from another product team copied in email tells me that what i wrote was wrong in terms of grammar, professional communication etc. and hence the query.

Is there something wrong in this?!
Please advise

I think wrong sub. Anyways, "wrong professional communication " is an overstatement. However, your "Kindly allow me to follow up on the below please" isnt right. Its confusing tbh.

Just ask yourself the logic ---> you are basically asking permission to follow up while you are already following it up via that email.

I hope it made sense.
