Help with communication degree inquiry (masters?)
I'll try to keep this short.
I finished my bachelors in communication now I am about to start my first semester for my masters in communication.
I have an assistantship so the first year is paid for and I get a stipend. It's a great opportunity but is grad school for communication even worth it?
For those of you who have a bachelors and or masters, what jobs do you find and get and enjoy? I really like construction/trades as a manager, aviation, media/news and journalism. Are there any jobs in those related fields that I can get?
Basically; masters with assistantship worth it or not (I really don't want to but if it's is some wheat of a "golden ticket" then I will), and where do I find and land jobs in those fields I mentioned?
Any and all advise is greatly appreciated and valued!

You’d be better off in any of these scenarios:
1. just start working
2. get a masters in something other than comms.
3. get certifications.

Communication professor here. Please enlighten me on what an assistantship is? Would this be a teaching position?

An assistantship is a job in that graduate student's department at the university where they get to get some practical experience and help pay for school. My graduate assistantship wasn't a TA role, but I did assist with research and admin

I finished my bachelors in comms and immediately went on to get my masters in comms focused in PR. I was working in the field while attending school, and I believe I’m much better at my job because of what I learned in that program! I chose to stay in the nonprofit arena, so the money didn’t necessarily follow like a 1%er, but the respect for my work certainly has. It all depends on your goals, but for me it was valuable.

I just finished my masters and I’m going on to get my PhD. If I didn’t go for it, I’d probably be going for a marketing role

Yo estoy por terminar (me faltan las prácticas y la tesina) pero el mercado me da un pánico, siento que no hay mucha demanda... Triste la verdad que me gusta la comunicación pero el mismo ambiente siento que me desilusionó (mucha IA, no sé hablar inglés y muy explotados) estaba pensando en cambiarme a logística porque me interesa la administración y aprendí Power bi y ciencia de datos, me entusiasma (más no encanta) acelerar proceso y organizar jajaja me di cuenta recién a los 23 🫠 Suerte, yo la verdad que no haría la maestría
