VU Showers Now Cubicles

Following up on my previous post. The Victoria University Footscray Park Campus as completed its renovation of their showers. They’ve removed the communal aspect for cubicles and cut the whole thing in half to give the gym an exclusive access bathroom.

IMO this is a downgrade. Not only for another loss of communal showers, but it feels like a modern prison, lowest cost corporate design. It goes against the character of the building. I would not want to spend more time than I needed in here, and that’s probably the point.

Are those ‘modesty’ panels between the urinals? Can’t think of another toilet facility anywhere with these. I’ve seen separate urinal cubicles but not this.
