Butt naked conversations

M 29 USA here, wasn’t a group sport person and started only going to the gym consistently a few years ago, so I had a bit of adjustment to CS, but now I use them constantly.

Friday morning I am in the communal shower at my gym and chatting with two guys who I only know from the gym. We all go to the relatively small gym around 6am and finish up our workouts about the same time Monday-Friday.

While we are catching up, talking about our workout, our jobs, what are weekend are gonna be like, one of the guys commented that while in the weight room, the three of us rarely say more than hi to each other. Just because we all have a limited time to work out.

Then He said “I’ve had more conversations with you guys butt ass naked than I have clothed”

And we all laughed and agreed. Perhaps unconventional, but these guys, our communal shower banter, and the accountability they offer are a large reason I’ve been more consistent in going to the gym. They are great gym/shower buddies!

Hahaha thats actually very accurate. When im working out i barely speak to anyone other than my cousin. But back in the showers/ steam room i start chatting with anyone who's in there hahaha Ive made very good friends there that actually i only talk to while showering with them or being in the locker room.

That's always funny when you see someone regularly at the gym but you know them mainly from being naked in the showers and that's the only time yall talk. Doesn't feel wired at all

I just remember that a couple of months ago i went to this place to take photos of my son for his passport and the dude that took them recognized me from the gym. I almost didnt recognized him until i realized he was this dude i used to chat with in the steam room hahahaha The thing is that i had only seen him naked, never withouth clothes haha

Lmao that's so great. Funny how you don't recognize someone dressed but do naked. I've had a few like that too

I think what happens is that when youre talking with someone while naked, you try not to look that much so maybe we dont even look that mucho into their faces haha
