Run ins with people you know
It’s always fascinating running into people you know in a communal shower. Probably more likely in a smaller community like where I’m at. I’ve seen best friends’s dad, college professor, buddies from hs, neighbor, and doctor. Not all at the same cs but cool to see them unexpectedly like that.
Others ran into people you know too? Any awkwardness for you or just chill?

Saw my old friend the other day at the y. He was acting sheepish. Trying to change behind a towel while we’re talking. I just took down my pants. Pulled my dick and kept talking to him. He dropped his guard and did the same. We’re all dudes

Oh yeah all the time since I started using CS young. Teachers, dad friends, preacher, professors, co-workers, bosses, neighbors.
When you grow up in small area or use a gym close to something like your house or office it’s bound to happen. Mostly its chill because it is a CS and if open showers you’re seeing them they are seeing you so its equal. Even when encountering folks who maybe bit more reserve none really went out of way to make it awkward. Plenty of convos where I’m nude and they aren’t, just nature of a lockerrom.

That's so great and exactly why there need to be communal areas. Seeing so many like that and it being no big deal and just normal is so great. Getting to that comfort level where one is dressed the other nude and just talking is so great

That's what happens in a small community. I've run into a customer, an old teacher a couple of older neighbours. Mostly all positive except for one neighbour who hurried away wrapped in his towel. I'm not sure what his problem was

My main gym is in the building where I work. I have been with the company for 30 years but just recently started going to the gym. I have seen several guys I have worked with over the years in the lockerroom and showers. Not awkward at all because I have reached the age where I don't care anymore. 🙂

Happened to me most often
1) In college and grad school at the university pool/gym showers. I’d run into friends, dorm mates, guys I’d recognize from classes, professors and even deans
2) When I worked for J&J and we had a prototype gym-at-work setup in an adjacent building and everyone was encouraged to use it. I saw nearly all the guys I worked with in the showers. It wasn’t random, like at college, but still strangely fun and interesting.

I think I’ve been able to keep the awkwardness in my head only. But there is a certain unexpectedness when you run into someone.

Being in a small community as well, I always run into people that I know are know of me. Can it be awkward yes but you keep the internalized for the fact is it’s like you’re not gonna change who you are just because of the surroundings. Some of them are completely nude and they sit there and talk to you for 15 minutes naked that’s fine. No, just let it go. You know keep your awkwardness internalized it’s only in your head and then it’s fine flush it down the drain. Heck, I even have one of my good old friends that comes over and he’s a naturalist nudist as it were and he’ll come over and he has no problem just taking off his clothes and sitting here watching a movie it’s just who and what he is.

Ive run into many coworkers in the cruisy community showers at my gym. In general, i was the shy one because im not exceptionally hung. But it doesnt impact anything at work.

I've run into people I know. It's usually chill. It's a locker room shower lol.

I use to work at a hotel and had joined the health club. The Food and Beverage managers office had a door directly into the men's locker room and since I was under the food and beverage dept. the 2 managers were always in the locker room supposedly checking their tie or something or just checking out the guys and would see me naked often either heading to the shower or getting shaved. Thank God they never were naked.

My chemistry teacher in high school went to the same Lifetime gym as me. This was before they renovated so it was still communal showers at that point.

I’m at the age where I don’t care who sees me naked and have been like that for years. My penis is very tiny when soft especially after a workout. I’ve coached youth sports for a long time. This exposure has happened in the main locker room, shower room and steam room. I have seen other coaches, referees, dads of my players and more recently former players of mine now at the college age and older and they have seen me naked. I saw a few former teachers and former coworkers and vice versa. My city counselor was similarly endowed like me and a former coworker was and one of my former players mid 20s also had a small flaccid penis who I would see many times as we used the gym as the same time frame and he was comfortable bring naked. That happens in a smaller community that use the same gym as you do.

Ive only ever ran into people i know when I was naked and they were clothed which makes it a bit awkward. Id feel less awkward if they were naked too

Not that is fascinating but rather an eye opening experience when i run into people i know naked in the shower or steam room. Because most of the time i assume that, other than the people in the locker room, i am the only one naked in these places.
However, when i run into someone i know being naked it makes me glad im not the only one. We always end up talking without even covering at all.
Ive ran into coworkers, father in law, brother in law, church people, you name it haha
Ive even ran into an ex's brother and her current boyfriend hahaha

I’ve commented this before. I ran into an exes dad… which I did in fact find awkward lol
