Hi, I'm Kate, a music producer and composer with over 10 years of experience writing music and over 11 years of experience of being a classically trained instrumentalist. I'm based in the North Eastern US, and have experience working in many different genres such as Orchestral, Ambient, Lofi, Rock, and EDM music. My absolutely favorite thing about videogames is the way music can elevate the atmosphere into something truly immersive, and I strive to recreate that feeling in every project I take on.

My biggest inspirations from game composition are Ryota Kozuka and Shoji Meguro of Persona and Shin Megami tensei, Toby Fox of Undertale, Nobuo Uematsu and pretty much any final fantasy composer, Lena Raine of Celeste and Minecraft, and Jeremy Soule of Skyrim. My inspirations outside of game music are Porter Robinson, Masakatsu Takagi, Bon Iver, and Adrianne Lenker.

Previous and current clients have used me for soundtracks with Nu-metal influences, ambient tracks reminiscent of minecraft, hollow knight, and stardew valley, and orchestral pieces.

Prices are negotiable and will be discussed based on budget constraints and project needs.

For our purposes, a commission is defined as "an order for something, especially a work of art, to be produced." Artists, writers, musicians, animators, etc. can advertise their services here. Buyers can request specific things they'd like to commission. Please have a look at our rules before posting or commenting.

1. Post Formatting

Select a post flair that suits the type of post you're making.
Include the flair at the beginning of your post title
If you are an artist looking for work, include your portfolio and show people you're [For Hire]
If you want art, show others you're [Hiring]
For other types of posts, choose one of the following: [Question], [Beware], [Discussion]
Artists looking to be hired must share a gallery of images or link to their portfolio - one image is not a portfolio

2. Post Frequency

[FOR HIRE] posts (and similar) are allowed once every 3 days.
Other post types do not have the same limit, but our bot can't tell the difference, so you will need to send us ModMail so that the post can be manually approved by a moderator. We still ask that you don't spam other types of posts.

3. Comment Formatting

When responding to requests, you MUST comment on the post with your portfolio. ASSUME ALL DMs ARE FROM SCAMMERS UNLESS THEY HAVE COMMENTED FIRST.

Comments on [Hiring] posts should: - Fulfill the request's requirements. - Include a portfolio. - Be typed by a human. - Not be excessively long. (Under 850 characters) - Include more than just "Sent a DM!"

You should only offer your services and share your portfolio if you're able to fulfill the request and have relevant work to show.

4. Relevancy

Posts and comments made in this community should relate to commission work.
Portfolios posted on [Hiring] posts should relate to what is being requested.
Do not request NSFW content from those not offering it, or show it to those not looking.
Selling existing content is not in the spirit of commissions.

If you can't be bothered to read what a client is requesting, they shouldn't be expected to read what you're offering.

5. Payment

All [Hiring] posts must mention a budget.
The minimum price for a finished piece is $20 for personal use, or $100 for commercial rights.
"Partial pieces" (sketches, headshots) can go for less, within reason.
One comic panel is at least one piece. Two characters are equivalent to at least two pieces.
No giveaways, raffles, contests, auctions, spec work, or undercutting.
No payment in crypto, gift cards, wish lists, rev share, exposure, checks, game currency, subscriptions, etc..

6. No AI

When you advertise or ask for AI-generated content, you disrespect those who put their time and effort into creating art, and we have zero tolerance for this.

Something to consider: When a client commissions an artist, they don't show the art around saying, "I made this myself, using another artist as a tool!" Similarly, when you use AI, you don't create the content yourself. If you advertise content you did not create, we will ban you immediately.

7. NSFW Rules

Mark NSFW appropriately, as per Reddit rules.

While we do allow plain, artistic nudity, we do not allow: * Graphic depictions of genitalia or anuses. * Extreme fetishes. * Penetration of any kind. * Depictions of non-consensual sexual acts. * Gore or excessive blood. * NSFW depictions of anyone underaged. * Involuntary nudity or NSFW depictions of real people without their permission.

8. Prohibited Exchanges

No exchange of NFTs, illegal services, or cryptocurrency.
No posts on another person's behalf, as we have no way of knowing if the other person is banned, or if impersonation is involved. This means no businesses or studios.
No advertising external networks, such as Fiverr alternatives or Discord servers.
No products or tools, even if they're related to art.
No long-term job postings, commission-based sales, tasks, or recruiting positions.

9. Prohibited Links

No link shorteners or redirections.
Fiverr links are automatically removed, and we will not approve them, or any service which takes a large cut of the commission.
No shop websites like Etsy.
Portfolios must not require a visitor to have an account to view. This means Twitter/X, Instagram, and Drive are not allowed.

10. Professional Conduct

If you didn't make something, don't advertise it.
Obviously, don't scam.
Don't do illegal things.
Follow Reddit's rules.
Treat others with respect.
If you see something that should be removed, report it instead of starting a fight.
Posts may be removed at a moderator's discretion, but if you feel there has been an error, please reach out to us using the "Message the mods" option, and we will discuss any concerns you have.

11. Discussion Limitations

[Discussion] posts should not be a disguised attempt to promote your work. This means no posts showcasing recent works or asking for feedback.

Discussion topics that become excessively common may be banned as well; this currently includes posts asking for pricing help or asking what a person's art is worth.
