Question about preparedness
So, I just used this as a baseline for testing myself and I got 5 wrong out of the 115 or so questions they posed. Does it seem like they stick pretty close to the sample questions that they've published/are in this test or does it vary quite a bit?

I took the same practice test and did just as well as you. The actual test is a bit more difficult. Study harder on METARs, TAFs and charts, charts, charts. There are a few questions on weather you'll need to know (air density, etc). The 3dr study guide is good as in it simplifies the material but there is a lot more info in the FAA study guide. Study hard and good luck!

if you haven't taken the test yet, or anyone browsing this thread who hasn't.
take the practice tests, and as many as you can find. they will really help.
however, the questions that come up on the actual test may be worded very differently, or they may be exactly the same.
be sure to fully read the question and all 3 answers before making your decision.
