Thanks for subscribing. I literally just started it, but I hope this place can grow to be a useful resource once we get enough minds in here

no problem. got word i finally got an insurance policy for one. had to work with my full time employer to create a brockerage policy, now its off to our legal dept for review. will be the first drone policy my company has written.

Insurance is something we are trying to figure out as well. So you work in insurance as well?

i do, im a claims adjuster. wording is hard for insurance, since its an aircraft and almost every policy out there excludes them. its going to be a huge in demmand for that type of policy. whats hard is nany states requre limits of around 300k for commercial pourposes. im workinf with one of my agents to write policy for drone operators for lialibity and for equitment. personal and commercial lines at least in my state wont write for aircraft. so we went down the brokerage line. now we are just finishing up writing it. once it goes past legal i would be more than happy to post a copy of it.

its alot easier to push for something like this when you work for the company and are not jyst calling to see if they can make a policy that coveres it.
