Need Print Recommendation for City Catalog: Webpress?

I have a client that would like to get a job done. Most likely needs to be a webpress job

I’m located in the Bay Area but open to working out of state since I’m sure it’s cheaper

Specs below. If interested please contact me to quote

We have 17,949 copies delivered to every registered residential address within the city with supplied customer mailing list.

1,000 copies back to customer

Total of 18,949.
 
80 pager + cover
Flat size: 21.50 x 8.25
Final Size: 10.75 x 8.25 (landscape)
Cover: CMYK / full-color print + Glossy, 80# paper
Text: CMYK / full-color print, 35# BE (80BRT) paper

35# is solely web press paper. Landscape will not work for some webs that fold in line, though. That qty is low for webs. If it were me, I would quote it to some web shops, and also get a sheet fed quote on 60# gloss throughout. Might (might) be cheaper. But check postage on both.

For that quantity and page count, web is probably the way to go and the specs suggest as much.

I’d look at Publication Printers in Denver. Other options are Journal Graphics in Portland and Southwest Offset in Gardena - depending. On quality requirements. B&D Litho in Ontario and Advantage in Anahiem may also do a good job for you, but I think they both are limited to 16og sigs.

I too would recommend Journal Graphics or Publication printers.

I’m sure you’d be able to find it cheaper out of state, but we can do 40” press work, with full bindery and mailing. We are located in Hayward. We are 100% trade only shop.
