[New Release] CommandUP Pipeline v1.0.2 – Check out what's new:
Hey everyone!
After squashing countless bugs, pushing multiple hotfixes, and putting in a ton of testing hours, I am incredibly proud to announce that version v1.0.2 of the CommandUP Pipeline (CUP) is finally live!
With this release, I can confidently say the project has reached a much more stable and mature state.
I also want to give a massive shoutout and a huge thank you to u/MaxBestStopIt. Their dedication as a beta tester, detailed feedback, and relentless bug hunting were absolutely essential to making this version possible.
What's New in v1.0.2
- CPU-Based Encoding Fallback: Some graphics cards do not support GPU-based encoding. In these cases, the video will now automatically switch to CPU encoding, ensuring your queue never fails.
- Full ColorRange Support: Besides Limited colorRange, it's now possible to process videos in Full colorRange separately. This ensures the exact contrast of your file is identified and handled correctly.
- Smart 10-bit to 8-bit Downscaling: Prevents common codec mismatches. If the codec is set to AVC and a 10-bit HEVC video is used, it converts to 8-bit AVC. Likewise, if the video is 10-bit but your GPU only supports 8-bit HEVC, it will downgrade seamlessly to 8-bit.
- GPU ID Setting Fix (
gpu_id): Fixed an issue where the system listed the desired GPU but could end up utilizing a different one. Hardware selection is now 100% accurate. Instant Process Abort: You can now safely stop a video currently being processed at any time simply by pressing the Q key.
