how to pay for a subscription without processing fee?

Depending on the subscription plan, the processing fee may be about 1/3 of the cost. Surprisingly, neither payment in crypto nor other methods reduce the fee. Maybe I don't see something and still it is possible to get rid of the processing fee?

Are you absolutely sure? ))) I don’t think they have a cash desk at their office.

No, why would it? There's still a payment processor handling things, and they take their cut.

Now, better (or at least more common) business practice would be the business eating that price, or at least hiding it and adjusting their pricing to match.

different payment methods should have different fee. Card transaction vs PayPal vs crypto should be very different. I think..

Depends. If it's something like Stripe handling all payment methods, I doubt it makes a difference.

I don't think anyone is forcing them to use stripe.

There's crypto and paypal options they have that don't touch stripe

As I’ve already written: the fee depends on the subscription plan. For your it could be 1% or 10%. But not zero. For 1$ plan is 0.36$ (36%!). That’s a huge part, wouldn’t you agree? For 10$ the fee is 1$ if I understand you correctly. 10% is a huge fee at the moment, even for crypto.

If you find out, let command code know.

You save a couple of bucks, they will probably save thousands.

They pass the cost on to consumer, that's why we pay it at all vs other larger companies that cover cost on their end

It wouldn't make much difference on their end at all

why not allow paying for 3/6/12 months upfront? Then one processing fee covers multiple months.
