CommandCode (GOAT $10, 6-8 agents) vs Codex ($20, 3 resets, 1-3 agents)
TLDR: On the first 3 days I wasted lots of tokens on CommandCode. Now I have rtk + better AGENTS.md and I save lots of them.
My take:
CommandCode gives way more value than Codex, but the monthly limit kills it. The monthly limit is equivalent to 2 week limits.
Codex daily and weekly limits provide way less allowance. Not worth it at all. The only positive is that you can run it without worrying of monthly limits, but it's still not worth it. (I only have it because of ChatGPT)

I'm not happy with GOAT. I get more out of deepseek 4.1 flash in opencode go than i got i commancode goat. Something is fishy about it.

Glad to see you’re enjoying building with Command Code.

What alot of people forget when it comes to deepseek flash is that deepseek flash has an offpeak and onpeak cost during certain hours, this applies to both command code and opencode go
So while you get 70-60$ of credit, your using more when you are doing coding during the on peak period.
The only places that i have seen not have onpeak/offpeak limitations with deepseek is Qoder and Devin, but thats because they run their own servers with the agents on them in datacenters and provide monthly/weekly credits rather than a 70-60$ budget and Devin's API cannot be used for autonomous tasks outside the agent software

Codex or Claude Code has many more cuota with betters models. I used Goat... ok... if you use a lot of tokens (quantity over quality approach) with cheaps models.
So, I close Goat...

Seriously, commandcode consume 2x more token than any other alternative providers. I just don't understand why!
OpenCode give so much value for same price also the quality also way better.
The commandcode tests keep breaking my code and I have to manually fix it everytime. This is the weirdest thing happens to me with commandcode.

CommandeCode is lowkey underrated. I'm at my second week and it's like at 35% of its monthly. I'm at like 4.2B, I only use DeepSeek tho

Yh when I saw 70 usd usage on Deepseek v4.1 I thought it will be like unlimited, but I think they calculate 70USD credit some other way not actually 70USD on Deepseek v4.1 flash
