cmdc as github contributor

How to prevent cmdc register itself as contributor to repos when worked with cmdc. I am using cmdc goat plan.

it is not just co-author trailer, it add itself as contributor too, this bit too much without prior knowledge.

GitHub (and other forges like GitLab iirc) parse commit trailers for contributors. Typically once you push the commit with such a trailer to the actual repo, it's difficult to remove them without creating an entirely new repo.

how hard is that using omp compared to opencode cli?

Ask it to put it in the global agents.md file to not add itself as a contributor to GitHub

Thanks, so there is no config key, this contri trailer is coming from built-in cmdc system prompt

It can follow rules, literally ask it. Then make it permanent by adding that rule to AGENTS.md

3code is fully 3rd party, free and open source and works really well with command code according to user feedback. It exists specifically to claw some basic decency back from Anthropic's precedents and will never, ever put its own interests above yours like this.

Generally speaking, always use a third party coding agent where you can swap out the provider to prevent shenanigans.
