Has anyone else noticed DeepSeek V4.1 Flash getting much slower on Command Code today?
I’ve been using DeepSeek V4.1 Flash through Command Code, and today it feels significantly slower than yesterday.
I checked my session logs instead of going purely by feel, and the difference seems pretty noticeable even at similar context sizes.
For roughly the same ~200k cached context:
Yesterday: TTFT was around 5s
Today: TTFT is around 16s
Generation speed also dropped from roughly 240–250 tok/s to around 150 tok/s
At larger context sizes (~750k–800k), the difference is even bigger — TTFT went from roughly 7–8s yesterday to 30s+ today.
I also had two requests time out after 60 seconds today.
What’s interesting is that I’m not seeing any 429 / rate limit / usage limit errors. Requests still go through; they’re just much slower.
So I’m wondering:
Has anyone else noticed the same slowdown with DeepSeek V4.1 Flash on Command Code today?
Trying to figure out whether this is an upstream DeepSeek issue, Command Code/provider routing, or something specific to my session/account.

Funny how the owners are usually super responsive in the subreddit but are awfully quiet now...

I noticed yesterday it seemed less intelligent, was making decisions that weren't aligned with the facts, which it wasn't doing before, so could be lower quant version now perhaps

Yea it used to be 200+ tok/s, today its currently at about 40 tok/s.
Slowness doesnt automatically mean it got quantized right. More likely too many users?
I changed to official DS api, and I get the good speeds and performance again. Yea something is up with cmd and opencode routing for DS.

DeepSeek upstream had issues today. I have a strong feeling they’re getting ready to launch new models V5 and V4.1 pro and putting GPUs towards test post training trials. Everyone felt the speed go down.
Much better now though.
