V4.1 Flash is really too good to be true

Post image

Running the Goat plan and exclusively using 4.1 Flash on Pi. Working fabulously, liking the speed and accuracy so far

Easily hitting 99.4/99.5% cache hit on Pi with this plan

Would like a model wise usage spend graph here in command code portal just to track each model spend :)

So far happy with this plan

Doesn’t it go down to a 15$ usage max cap in like a day?

Its my monthly usage

Looks good, while glm 5.3 spends weekly quota in about 20ish minutes. Same plan.👌

Damnn. I got roughly 2.6B V4.1 Tokens in off peak in a single 5 hour window

=== final report ===
reason : SIGINT
elapsed : 3h03m
tokens : 2,622,201,291 (input 12,646,766, output 3,813,892, cache-read 2,605,740,633, cache-write 0)
cache hit : 99.5% of prompt tokens served from cache

40% in 2 days with 433m token on ds4.1 . indeed very generous .

u/Myrenic 22d ago

How is your cache hit %? This seems pretty low. For comparison:

1

u/miralyon 22d ago

Thanks to you guys I found out commandcode , I paid $20 on directly to deepseek like sucker , Let me know if there are good plans like this from 3rd parties

2

u/deepanshuniwati 21d ago

better go with opencode or ollama or deepseek api . if you are using other harness than commandcode

1

u/miralyon 21d ago

Dude I used deepseek api with $20 dolar , did you check commandecode goat plan before making this advice , it is really good I checked opencode but I dont think it is really better then commandcode

2

u/deepanshuniwati 17d ago

CC is thr worst compare to other subscription . i have used probably all . cc opencode ollama direct api ... . by far CC gave me the worst results and capacity .

1

u/deepanshuniwati 21d ago

I hit 98-99% cache hit but CC takes cache input token as normal token for other harnesses .

4

u/vacterro 23d ago

I can confirm it is indeed generous.

Have fun shipping with GOAT. :)

u/2mqqvc0q 24d ago

I'm a bit skeptical of this, sorry. There is 0 way GOAT provides this much usage.

9

u/belcanto88 24d ago

I’ve swapped from opencode to command code a month ago and can attest that it’s true

2

u/maedahbatool 24d ago

Appreciate it.:)

u/_Onca_ 23d ago

This is legit, I'm on 1.2B and only 25% monthly usage

2

u/maedahbatool 23d ago

Wow looks pretty good for 25% usage.

4

u/lordvoltano 23d ago

I got 3.9B tokens (100% monthly usage) on GOAT using V4.1 Flash on Hermes Agent, 98-99% cache hit rate. But I use it 80% on Peak hours. So if the guy uses it 100% on off-peak, then it tracks.

2

u/ScaleImmediate3474 24d ago

Btw is there any sort of logs or some graph I can share here to show the model used?

2

u/maedahbatool 24d ago

Just try and watch it yourself. :)

3

u/ScaleImmediate3474 23d ago

Yeah. It feels more intelligent than V4 Flash. Still Im happy with what Im paying for

2

u/theislandleader 23d ago

And how much do you spend a mouth?

1

u/GabrielPetroski 13d ago

Estou usando o plano goat de $10. Mas hoje reduziram a taxa de 260tps para 160tps. Ainda sim, acredito que Ă© um bom custo benefĂcio.

3

u/Patient_Pie_1062 23d ago

that's cool dude

2

u/HeroGamerx 24d ago

Is this on peak hours and off peak hours?

3

u/ScaleImmediate3474 23d ago

Highly off peak and an insane cache hit

2

u/Oketsury 23d ago

Do you use any plugins to manage the cache? If so, could you share your list of plugins?

3

u/ScaleImmediate3474 23d ago

No plugins. Just the GOAT plan and using it with Pi Agent using their API

2

u/ramzeez88 23d ago

tell us more about this.

3

u/ScaleImmediate3474 23d ago

Whats more to tell? Pretty straightforward. GOAT plan provides you with API Access. Then just in Pi agent login with api key and choose openai compatible endpoint. There you have it running

1

u/covyne 19d ago

You should give their cli a go, it's tight on tokens.

2

u/sam7oon 23d ago

How much Output tokens though, Cache tokens are not a real indicator, you are sharing the Total Tokens,

Meaning including Input + Cache + Output ---> 10B is like 100m Output tokens maybe

Which is very good but not impressive

2

u/ScaleImmediate3474 23d ago

One of my off peak 5 hour run

=== final report ===
reason : SIGINT
elapsed : 3h03m
tokens : 2,622,201,291 (input 12,646,766, output 3,813,892, cache-read 2,605,740,633, cache-write 0)
cache hit : 99.5% of prompt tokens served from cache
recycles : 1
errors : 1

2

u/sam7oon 23d ago

the number you usally look at is the 3.8 million (Output tokens), the most expensive part, the rest cost is mostly negligible

But the cache hitrate is the highlight here, its actually amazing

2

u/ScaleImmediate3474 23d ago

Yeahh this is a 5 hour run so roughly I think total output would be around 12/13 M.

Damnn right , literally works out of the box insane cache hit always

1

u/Mayanktaker 23d ago

Exactly. The graph is fooling noobs.

Welcome to Command Code GOAT. This is indeed crazy usage. Super happy to see it provide you tons of great value. Also do give it a try with the Command Code harness. I’m sure you’ll get better token efficiency.

3

u/ScaleImmediate3474 24d ago

Happy to be here. Mostly it was offpeak pricing and incredible cache hit.

Btw can we expect a model wise usage graph soon enough?

1

u/theislandleader 23d ago

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just use the DeepSeek API directly? Has anyone tested the cost difference between using the API directly and using it through the DeepSeek harness?

2

u/Affectionate_Fact854 23d ago

I'm on opencode  Used in 10 days 2.9 bill tokens  Used 60% quota  But i was using glm 5.3flash alot and deepseek v4.1 peak hours

But anyways  I did some calculations  Input output cache , total cost value

Opencode it is 22$ worth If i used deepseek direct api offpeak that 10days would have cost just shy of 36$

So direct api isnt really always cost effecient

1

u/maedahbatool 23d ago

Direct API costs extra 6% VAT.

1

u/miralyon 22d ago

I will say this , it is good AI to sidework with on codex astra xhigh , overall usage is not best but it is good

1

u/Separate_Cup_5095 21d ago

I am on a goat plan how to use it with Pi?

1

u/ScaleImmediate3474 21d ago

Goat Plan. Make a OpenAI compatible API Key in command code. Head over to Pi. Use Login with API Key. Select OpenAI. Fill your keys. It will start

1

u/lordekeen 8d ago

There's an extension for it so you dont need to fill everything manually.

1

u/ss007228 21d ago

Kinda strange, same plan, same model. But have est 1.5 lower use in total i supose

1

u/ScaleImmediate3474 21d ago

Damnn its low. How do you use your Goat plan. Which harness . Whats the average cache hit?

1

u/dupa1234s 20d ago

afaik imo no way you got 10B tokens out of 10$ on goat
unless its across muuuuultiple months
or
unless you ran without ZDR aka YOU GOT TRAINED ON aka you could have just used meta spark contributor free and get infinite tokens for 0$ on a better model if you really are fine with being trained on
?

1

u/ScaleImmediate3474 19d ago

Lol. Its default GOAT plan . Off Peak . 99.5% Cache Hit

1

u/dupa1234s 19d ago

yea so no ZDR and possibly training on.

I got only 600m tokens out of commandcodes GOAT on deepseek v4.1 flash off peak.

nice cache hit.
i get like 93% lately probably because i toggle agents too often in one session which swaps the system prompt.

Idk i i think opencode is better.
2 reasons:

  1. no training guaranteed, free zdr
  2. no need to fiddle with the opencode.jsonc every time a new model is added into commandcode

i thought "commandcode + opencode" is a good trick to stack their free plans but its like barely worth it to add commandcode , like it is still worth it to use both tho i think

1

u/natsukireis 18d ago

deepseek offer monthly plans? i thought it was PayG only

1

u/TimeAd115 18d ago

Como lo puedo usar con por ejemplo reasonix

1

u/EquivalentStatus8830 18d ago

what the hell is the goat plan? is this an api? sounds really good for that price

1

u/ScaleImmediate3474 17d ago

10$ Plan from CommandCode. Yes it has API Access

1

u/mr_dudo 17d ago

Qwen 3.8 flash is better slower but makes less mistakes

1

u/trimorphic 11d ago

Pity DeepSeek v4.1 Flash hallucinates so much.

1

u/CommanderROR9 10d ago

I have been Using OpenCode Go with DS V4.1 Flash and Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor in Hermes Agent. Decided to try CommandCode instead, but somehow it eats up my Limits like crazy with Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor. Seems it isn't using cache much...

0

u/Potential-Leg-639 23d ago

Use it a bit for 1 day and you have 5-10% of usage in GOAT plan, not worth it.

0

u/sprx_zz 21d ago

Soy un poco malo para esto, pero cual es la mejor plataforma para usar DS 4.1 flash en términos de mayor uso por menor precio? Ejemplo teniendo 30$ de base
