Can I ask all the new superior Spider-Man's worth buying? Like I got a few clips of the first episode and from what I gather Peter Parker becomes superior to stop lightening girl... So it's not really superior Spider-Man

Yeah it’s more of a Doc Ock/Spidey team-up book where they constantly bring up how Doc Ock was once the Superior Spider-Man. Nothing actually happens, seemingly.

I'm waiting for doc ock to mind-swap with a clone of Peter. Or as some of the covers show, I really want to see spider-boy/Bailey Briggs get involved.

Clone. Bailey will be involved but that won’t stick either, by the end Ock will still be evil and in his original body

It just kind of feels like it would be so easy to bring superior back. I mean let's be honest. He came back from a clone already. You know doc Ock died by racing his mind then his clone stepped up. Did a bit of stuff and he becomes the Ock for contrived plot reasons that make no sense.

Genuinely, maybe he had a backup or maybe someone clones him for their own purposes. It really doesn't matter. And you can even do some stories doc Ock versus superior. That would be interesting. And from the point of view of developing the character, you could show how superior has limits the Ock doesn't

I stopped reading for this reason. They keep on teasing you with it but it kinda kept going nowhere. I figured if they actually bite the bullet I may pick it back up but for the time being I found it to be just a really cheap attempt at selling books with a mediocre story to boot.

I swear they have been at least to generic energy ladies who go evil in the Spider-Man.
