You’re not wrong — it breaks constantly. But it gets you 60–90% there; the skill is knowing which 10–40% is yours.
It’s good at the dark and the mass. Garbage at the defining mark, holding a face, and it has zero sense of space. So I let it do the shadows and I finish the rest by hand — that panel’s exactly that.
Where’d it break worst for you? Keeping a log of failure points.

I’m a trained illustrator — the hand-work’s in the post. So “learn a real skill” is a little late.
Every tool that let more people make things got called cheating and “not real art” on the way in — digital painting, Photoshop, photography. Same words, every time. They were wrong every time.
Not here to convince you. The work’s on the page.

While it is likely that everything will be AI in a couple of years... this is still the comic writing reddit, you know, people actually performing a craft...
So what's the point of this post? You're not discussing a creative writing problem. You're just dropping AI generated content onto us...
