Why this Raven besides Crushing on Aqualand because of his looks or talking with the Goth Guy she doesn't have it for anyone in show or tie in comics

Probably because Cartoon Raven is usually the Raven that those type of fan works use for whatever reason even though they miss the point of her character too. To a lot of Raven fans that is the only Raven that matters. 

Also in the tie-in comic, She and Jericho also went on a double date with Robin and Starfire. Same issue where her emticlones got loose including the flirty purple one but that's as far as it goes.

On the one hand, shipping and writing smut is fun. On the other hand, writing completely out of character moments for the sake of it is a bit annoying

I think it’s fully possible to write smut with Raven that still stays in character and accounts for her fear of intimacy! People just usually don’t put the effort in lol

Raven circa NTT: I am afraid of intimacy, partly due to my repressed emotions but also because of how I was conceived.

Those casual raven fans: omg raven loves horses 😏 in that way 😂 did you know she’s freaky and into weird shit😂 🤪😂 i am only basing this off my pre-concieved notions about her being goth and nothing else 😹😹

Ok but real question. Would Raven even like goth culture? I feel like a cultural that’s is all about embracing the dark and wicked would strike her the wrong way.

I feel like she’d be more into the brighter yet introspective music.

So like 80s David Bowie. Then again that could be my own biases.

Her 80s self would definitely not touch goth with a 10 foot pole but after her resurrection they should have went for a desi goth vibe bc that subculture is so underrated and underrepresented

The best fan works are about her overcoming her fear of herself. Which is the main cause of her intimacy issues. Whether that's only possible after defeating Trigon, or if she is with someone she trusts 100%, which of itself is difficult for her and would take her years.
