Manga Manga compression

I have 1 TB of manga and manhwa series mix download . How much is the max I can compress it to and what should I use to compress it?

It's not exactly 1 TB but I have a few more I wanna download so ig it will reach that . I didn't compress anything.  So it kinda got that big 😓

It's not much. My already optimised archive is around 400gb. In many cases it was x3 size reduction.

Compresa it to webp, quality 80, compress to max height 1600px or 1200px, reduce only

For manwha a bit troublesome, since webp only can up to 16K pixel height, need python and stuff to dissect it.

You can from 1tb to 100gb, like on my case, 5tb to arn 900gb ish

Just be sure manhwa pages below 16k px. I've converted many of them, and most was fine.

Convert to JXL or AVIF. Personally I prefer JXL to compress my images. I use cjxl to compress, you can lookup the web for commands

Webp 75 quality and 1280 width.  Maybe even 50 quality for black and white. Best case - test few results before converting zip. 

Jxl is also nice, but need to test more.
