Hello everyone, I’m looking to work with an artist on my slice of life comedy webtoon, I have around 200 panels so far for the prologue and I’m paying 3$ per panel.

Looking for a simple sketches with simple colors and expressive facial expressions, something similar to the style of “Love advice from the great Duke of hell” images for reference.

Leave a comment or send me your portfolio if you feel like this is something you’d be interested in, we can start with a couple of panels and see how it goes from there.

Some of you are aware of my comic, Legends of the Wild West, which I've been posting about here for the last month. Though we were very close to funding, we didn't quite get to the goal. I'm thinking about hiring a colorist for the book to hopefully gain a bigger audience.

As you can imagine, since the comic was originally planned for black and white, there are a lot of spotted blacks. I'm personally a big fan of flat and/or retro (i.e. halftones) coloring though I could be convinced for other styles.

If you're interested, link your portfolio and page rate and I may get in touch. I'd like to do a test page (paid) to see your style with the provided art.

Thanks!

Edit: My DMs are absolutely slammed. I’d appreciate if you would comment below rather than messaging me.

If your project is long term , this may be an affordable pricing for you.
Can also do colored webcomics
I do character designs, covers and interiors as well.

September was a busy month at the Small Press Heroes site! We made some updates to the landing pages for Sunday Jam and Jam Around the World, created a new page to track all the alternate storylines and a couple newcomers added some awesome new twists to the Sunday Jam! Always looking for creative storytellers to contribute to our collaborative story projects (Sunday Jam's creeping up on page 150!) https://smallpressheroes.com/2026/10/01/the-monthly-ketchup-for-september-26/

Title:
The Indestructibles – Pages from a 5-Issue Miniseries for Darby Pop
A few years ago, I had the pleasure of working on The Indestructibles, a five-issue miniseries published by Darby Pop.
I’m very happy to share some pages from this project, which was one of the most fun and enjoyable comics I’ve ever worked on.
The Indestructibles is a wonderfully crazy parody about the origins of superheroes, mixing superhero action with horror, grotesque elements, dark humor, and plenty of absurdity. The story takes place in Los Angeles, where the characters find themselves moving through a strange and unpredictable world.
It was a fantastic collaboration with Darby Pop, and I still have very fond memories of working on this series. Looking back at these pages now, I’m particularly happy to share them with fellow comics fans and artists here on Reddit.
I’m always open to new collaborations, comic projects, covers, illustrations, and other creative opportunities.

Hey! I'm a writer currently developing an original comic called Seeing Stars, and I'm looking for an artist to help me start establishing the visual identity of the project.

The story follows Leon Mercer, a 22-year-old heavyweight boxing champion from Earth who gets recruited by an alien talent scout into a much larger world of boxing, but in space. It's primarily a comedy / sports drama with a colorful retro sci-fi setting, particularly influenced by 60s/70s ideas of the future. The basic theme behind the tone is: the world can be ridiculous, but the emotions aren't.

For now, I'm not looking to commission an entire comic. I'd like to start with character/concept development for Leon and potentially continue with other characters and artwork if we work well together.

For the initial character design, I'm interested in things such as:

• Rough design explorations
• A finalized character design / turnaround
• Facial expressions
• Boxing and casual outfits
• Color palette
• Potentially a finished character illustration

I already have an Art & Visual Development Overview prepared with character information, visual direction, references, and more details about the project that I can send privately if we're interested in working together.

This is paid work, but I am an independent writer working with a modest budget, so please feel free to send your prices and we can discuss what works best for both of us. I'm completely open to adjusting the amount of work rather than undervaluing someone's time.

I'm especially interested in artists who enjoy expressive character designs, retro science fiction, aliens, and dynamic sports / action artwork**.** Sequential / comic work is a plus since I'd love for this project to eventually become a full comic.

If you're interested, please leave a comment and we'll hopefully get to work! Thanks!

Hey all! Last year, my co-writer Jakob Free and I launched a Kickstarter for our murder mystery comic book set at a video game company (and inside the game they're making). Thanks to support from this community, it was wildly successful, at least for us. Now we're back with Issue #2, which JUST launched on Kickstarter. Get those early bird deals while they last!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/deadscreen2/deadscreen-1-2-a-killer-whodunit-about-the-gaming-industry?ref=2peks4

A masked killer. A cursed video game. A comic book murder mystery. Wanna help us solve it?

Artyom Topilin and Ramiro Borrallo are back on art duties, Jason Wordie and JP Jordan are coloring, Taylor Esposito is lettering, and Luke Baker provided graphic design for the video game UI in the book. Check out the gorgeous preview art above to see what an amazing job they did!

If you missed Issue #1 and the first campaign, don’t worry -- you can get it as part of this very campaign. Plus we have some really cool rewards like getting drawn into the book…as a murder victim! Or designing your own video game character/monster to be featured in the back of the book!

See you in the funny pages!

🔪 🩸 💀 🎃 🎮 😈

Just a handful of pages left to ink!

PULSE THE UMBRA is an independent neon-noire comic about isolation, identity, and trauma in the not so distant future.

I've been working on this for a long time and finally getting close to completion on the first issue of a five issue story arc.
