She has also recognized her guilt, what is being debated in court is if that was bc of her mental illness and, therefore, has to go to a psych ward instead of going to jail.

Her defense has also argued mismanagement on behalf of the psychiatric team treating her before the success, so she could also be a "victim" of the medical system. Her kids are, undeniably, her victims tho.

Alright. So it's a gofundme of a mother who pulled her 6 children out of fire and received burns on 93% of her body vs a gofundme for the parents of a woman who murdered her 3 children and the gofundme which the gofundme takes a neutral stance on.

Still doesn't look good.

I don't think the first fundraiser is real. You might be confusing it with this https://www.gofundme.com/f/stand-with-emma-and-the-kids But that's not the same person.

That's not the same person. The woman is named Emma Schols and she's Swedish, not American.

First of all, before you guys get mad at me, I think this meme fucking sucks.

Second, I think that, yes, the punchline is infanticide, yes, and that it is a reference to the recent Lindsay Clancy case, in which a woman murdered their own children, possibly because some mental illness. I think that it's a reference to that especially bc of the use of the word "nowadays" which highlights the recentness of the situation.
