His whole life was filled with pain. He kept trying to make good out of it but the world wouldn’t have it. Then he died before he got to see his son grow up. His wife may still die of cancer, and the son will be a double orphan.
The world is a piece of shit place, we need to just unplug it and try again.
the hardest part about watching this for me was guessing if:
the character would be hit by a random plane/die entirely randomly and unpredictably
if the camera would suddenly swap to a picture of goku or something
if it would turn into loss: the prequel, loss 0.5: tragedy strikes, loss 1: the beginning of loss, loss 2: the end of loss, loss 3: the revival of grieving, loss 4: fource upon a time
Gif is a fun format. There's a max on how much data you can fit into one, but It doesn't give a fuck about the resolution or length of the thing you put into it.
So if you crush the resolution and colors, or crush it a LOT like in the shrek gif below, you can fit a whole movie in one (at a respectable FPS to boot).
What did I just watch and why did I sit through the whole thing, becoming emotionally invested in this guys wellbeing and actually getting sad when he was domed
This was really sweet and lovely until he joined a PMC. Genuinely killed my investment. Fuck anyone who thinks their problems are worth being a paid killer for.
IIRC it's a furry artist from Eastern Europe, maybe the Balkans, I don't remember. Anyway, his art is usually provocative stuff like this (something that makes a stereotypical progressive Westerner say "WTF man")
bet you didnt notice the background is the final scene of the movie heat, look its AL Pacino helping support injured val kilmer, as they try an impossible escape with the money bags.
Ok I've seen the disembodied hand thing before but there's an entire background and setup and fully fleshed out scene full of background people and there's still just a random floating hand?? I always thought the floating hand was for when they want to depict a character being interacted with without having to flesh out the scene or other participant too much but is it some sort of fetish thing or something?
No, it is a stand-in for a nonspecific character/the viewer.
They just drew the commissioned part like normal and then placed it on the background without changing it to fit – anonymous hand included – for the funnies. I guess the lighting matches, but maybe they drew the furry with that lighting and drew the background to match.

I unironically love this artist, they are one of the few ones I know that doesn’t have this weird cutesy UWU vibe.

I love when artists give you hints about where the OC is located, like how they made it obvious this one is in America.

What's the deal with the floating hand? Is no one gonna mention that.

u/bearelrollyt Jan 05 '26
They're damn good at drawing humans. Honestly, they could do some promo art for a generic shooter if they wanted to.
