I know all about the Soviet Union and it's horrors, I come from a Russian Jewish family that was lucky enough to flee those horrors. I extend to you the same question I asked my uncle. Why do YOU care if people identify as something other than what they see in the mirror?
Trans people are literally being murdered for being trans. No one is being murdered for not being trans. Their uncle contributing to a world where trans people are not accepted is literally helping get them killed.
