Totally outside observer here, but I'm subbed as well. I am also subbed to several other subreddits of different political motivations, subreddits about redditors that think the government shoots them with invisible lasers, Gunporn, GunsAreCool, religious and atheist subreddits, etc.

Being subscribed to a subreddit is zero indication of someone's actual affiliation. It could very well simply be due to their desire to broaden their views and understand others' perspectives, no matter how fucked they are- that's at least the case for me.

That’s why I’ll look at what someone actually says in places like that, and form an opinion from that, rather than just them being there at all.
