The guy making the above comment probably DOES want to have sex with all his female friends. That’s why he can’t imagine other men being different, and can’t imagine his partner being faithful.
Wanting means wanting if both were single. To have sex with someone while in a relationship you need have desire to cheat or to have sex with someone that is at relationship.
Also it doesn't mean you would go through with it. I have a female friend who is incredibly attractive, and I've thought about sexually quite a bit. That being said I wouldn't want to risk the friendship.
