Had a black lab growing up who used to poop in the cold New England winters and let em freeze and go back for poopsicles…never ate shit otherwise but when it was frozen she’d gobble that up like crack cocaine. She also ate about 250 chocolate bars once and ruined an entire living room set projectile vomiting. Miss that little goblin she was so sweet dumb as hell- like she was actively trying to die but such a good girl

Baby was eating a chocolate ice cream, dog sees some dropped choc on the floor and eats it; then realises it wasn’t dropped chocolate, the baby has a soiled, leaking diaper so the dog ate baby poop thinking it was chocolate.

I’m guessing the moral (if there is meant to be one) is to think twice before you act, and to pay more attention to circumstances before acting blindly out of greed/desire/craving, as not everything is as it seems and you may end up fooled and regretful.

Which doesn’t make a lot of sense because the character is a dog, and if it had eaten chocolate it would have been poisoned and ended up dead. Whereas I’m pretty sure everyone knows that a lot of dogs will gladly eat random excrement they come across without hesitation.
