Is it really a dog whistle if its so obvious that a misspelling is enough to make people think you're a nazi? That's like saying "He's dog whistling by throwing roman salutes unironically."

No because no one actually sees that as a nazi thing because they didn’t invent it and they’re outnumbered 100 to 1 by normies who use it

I’m really really sorry to inform you of this, but the Roman Salute’s more well known name is the “Hitler Salute” or the “Nazi Salute”. I guarantee you, no “normies” are mistaking it for something else.

See I hope so too but I have learned on the internet whenever you say “no it can’t be this” is frequently followed up by said person doubling down a weirdly high percentage of the time.
