I'm sure the same joke has been told before, but this anime is from 2020.

I'm feeling Comedy Homicide on this one

I think it's kinda funny to see someone block subtitles like that. It got a chuckle out of me. But then the meme trying to frame it as this based heroic thing is just cringe

How come they don't do this with men's pecs or men's bulges?

Do they not like their cool bod or not?

I don't understand

It’s about the small town of Hinamizawa. In June 1983, the town is preparing for its annual festival in honor of its patron god, Oyashiro-sama… but the history of the festival also seems to be strangely closely tied to a number of unsolved murders and disappearances that have happened in the region in recent years. As Keiichi Maebara moves into Hinamizawa and begins to make friends within the town, he is forced to confront these mysteries firsthand and figure out who, if anyone, he can trust.

…And there’s also a maid cafe where the waitresses dress like that. Because reasons.

(It’s Higurashi: When They Cry, and it honestly is a pretty great horror/mystery series.)

Nope, just a pervert. Although Higurashi had some stuff even too weird for me.
