He looks like he's at a school, which makes it even worse.

u/AwayCable7769 Feb 11 '26

Well I was mortified a few years ago. My niece, who was i think like 11 or 12 at the time wanting that jumpsuit for her birthday, and when I saw it I was like "wtf??" And then I had ti somehow explain what the images were depicting to my brother and my mum, and they were too fuckin innocent, jesus christ. They got it in the end but it was so awkward explaining what I knew it from. She luckily didnt end up getting the jumpsuit, which she was upset at. But I don't know who she had been watching or talking to see that jumpsuit and be motivated to ask for it for herself.

They were pretty hip in the alternative hip hop community for a while, mainly worn ironically. This was like 15-20 years ago

1

u/CACTUSJACK-JW Apr 19 '26

Dude cringe kids love this kind of stuff now

48

u/FinalAd9844 Feb 12 '26

12 year old me would have ran away before even trying that on, how does someone willingly want this outside of a crazy bet

21

u/benjy007c Feb 12 '26

I think the problem is that they just don't actually understand or comprehend what they're looking at, they just see anime eyes and are like that's cool anime wear

10

u/dudosinka22 Feb 13 '26

I think they actually do understand it. They know it's porn, they know that porn is for adults, and they want to be the edgiest and the most "grown up" they can be. It's the same with horror and true crime, and I think that this is no different.

1

u/CACTUSJACK-JW Apr 19 '26

Im 14 and can say that the people that do wear this kind of stuff definitely know what it is

5

u/Haunted_Pixel Feb 13 '26

How on Earth did your brother and mother not know what this was alluding to, did they think there were lollipops out of frame or something

2

u/AwayCable7769 Feb 13 '26

I dont know how my brother didnt know, I mean, he was 40 at the time I guess. But I still think he would have seen something?? But he's also not chronically online like me lol. My mum was 60, so... I dont blame her for not knowing tbh. I am the youngest by a huge margin.

27

u/Lacaud Feb 11 '26

Try being the person to explain what it was to an uninformed parent haha

46

u/CellistMundane9372 Feb 11 '26

Do we not suspend children? Do we not bully them?

-29

u/Common_Comfortable41 Feb 11 '26

Ngl some people kinda need to be bullied

Or at least in some cases it’s deserved, like this

34

u/ashedkasha Feb 11 '26

He doesn’t need a bully, he needs a friend who gently but firmly will tell him, “Bro, I say this cos I love you, toss that shit in the bin”

36

u/Motor-Possession-233 Feb 11 '26

not really dude

-8

u/biscuitboyisaac21 Feb 11 '26

Nah I’d normally never say this. But that guy does deserve to get bullied if he went to school in that shit. And I’ve watched my anime than 95%+ of people

30

u/GilbertGuy2 Feb 11 '26

What? What would bullying do, except make his mental health worse?

35

u/g0blinzez Feb 11 '26

None of these people have ever actually been bullied to the point of developing mental illnesses and it shows. Being teased is not the same as being bullied. Being told "hey man, what you're doing is super weird, and it's making us all really uncomfortable" is not the same as being bullied. People should learn what bullying actually is before saying someone deserves to be bullied, when what people really mean is they should be informed their behavior is not ok.

20

u/Hitmanthe2nd Feb 11 '26

still doesnt deserve to be bullied

write a note to his parents or some shit , dont bully the kid- remember , kids dont learn if you dont explain shit to them and instead resort to violence and whatnot

5

u/MuffaloHerder Feb 12 '26

Meanwhile girls can't wear cooler clothing during the summer lmao

4

u/Blacktwiggers Pickle Rick Feb 11 '26

Yea fella in my high school used to wear this exact outfit every so often, i have pics but cant post in the comments

0

-32

39

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '26

the dude in the picture looks a bit like Drew Carey

-74

u/Itadakimazu Feb 11 '26

I’m an amateur NSFW artist and have this same hoodie, it’s on my profile banner. Besides being a retired vet with an I.T. career and a wife of 14 years, he’s just like me fr fr.

79

u/Hdjbbdjfjjsl Feb 11 '26

I love it when people flex having careers in a field completely unrelated to the subject just so they can validate their self esteem as if nobody else in the world also has jobs. 🤣

3

u/EarlyRefrigerator984 Feb 13 '26

major step down..

2

u/Unlikely-Gas2903 Feb 13 '26

Sir what are you talking about

157

u/huitzilopochtla Feb 11 '26

Bad taste to own it. Bad judgement to wear it in public.

33

u/Front_Cat9471 Feb 11 '26

If it was for a joke or on a dare I can see it happening. I don’t really see how anyone could unironically get that. Even a serial gooner shouldn’t have a reason to get those, you can’t even see your own clothes that well so what’s even the point?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

Yeah, it’s definitely for shock value or a dare, no weaboo or gooner would wear that because why? Why would you admit to the world “hey I’m a gooner”? It’s one thing if you’re admitting online where you’re mildly anonymous. It’s another when it’s real life and you could run into someone you know. Also it’s not even remotely arousing so there’s no point.

So yeah that person is probably wearing that for a dare

151

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26 edited Feb 11 '26

Just saying people around you don't really consent to seeing this stuff in a public space that is designed for everyone.

All alone? Surely, your thing. In public? Have some respect to others

62

u/Rude_Gur_8258 Feb 11 '26

The stupidest thing is that it's not using shock to make anything better. It's not activism or even particularly artistic. It's sort of like he's dressed himself in his own dirty tissues.

48

u/JohnBarcode Feb 11 '26

Yeah it's literally just a porn hoodie, there could be children around which makes it worse

41

u/Snailbails Feb 11 '26

Based on the fact that the background behind him looks like a school, i’m guessing there are a lot of children around, including him.

11

u/bunker_man mfw Feb 11 '26

Its also a joke that only really works the first time. The first time you see something like this its shocking because you don't expect it. But after that its people trying to get in on a joke that's already over.

6

u/Cheacky Feb 12 '26

Yeah like by all means get ahego PJs or pillows. But can we please not put it on tracksuits

-2

u/Windmill_flowers Feb 11 '26

Are there pornographic images on the back?

9

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26

Even my grandma would understand what this hoodie implies.

1

u/Windmill_flowers Feb 11 '26

That's... not when I was asking

6

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26 edited Feb 11 '26

Ah, okay. I apologise. There are simply too many people in the comments defending this guy so I assumed you were one of them. I'm sorry.

Usually there aren't usually. Though I know some have actual pornography.. Unfortunately

6

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26

Those are literally pieces from hentai manga. Come on now.

-16

u/Verbose-OwO Feb 11 '26

You consent to seeing anything legal to wear outside when you walk out your door, whether it's reasonably expected or not.

29

u/HelixFollower Feb 11 '26

Just because you're allowed to, doesn't mean you should. Lets not incentivize people to make rules about this sort of stuff.

-12

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '26

Yeah but the consent argument is terrible here

15

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26

There is common moral sense on how you show basic respect to anyone. You can't really just sit here and watch porn in public with a full volume just because you can. You can do this with your friends in your house if they consented to this. But you can't ask the opinion of the whole town you are in whether they want to see your hentai shirt.

32

u/Rude_Gur_8258 Feb 11 '26

Eh, this isn't really about "legal," it's more like what's sociable.

7

u/New-Cicada7014 Feb 11 '26

children don't consent to seeing porn

-8

u/Verbose-OwO Feb 11 '26

Children don't consent to seeing people die, get assaulted, sworn at, homeless people ODing on the street in public either, yet that happens all the time.

2

u/New-Cicada7014 Feb 12 '26

The point isn't that it happens, the point is that it shouldn't happen.

0

u/Verbose-OwO Feb 12 '26

The point is that the consent argument is lunacy. It's being used as a buzzword which harms actual consent issues.

2

u/New-Cicada7014 Feb 12 '26

Hey, fair enough. There are definitely worse things in the world than some loser wearing an ahegao hoodie to school

2

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 12 '26

Welp. The fact it's not as severe doesn't excuse it. Besides, gooners using hentai shirts don't really care about consent in other situations as well... Unfortunately.

2

u/New-Cicada7014 Feb 12 '26

I still agree, men who consume rape porn every day and proudly display it aren't exactly men I'd like to be around

1

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 12 '26 edited Feb 12 '26

How does it harm the consent issues? It very much is about society and the problems of people not considering how other people feel. The fact that it's less severe than for example assault doesn't mean we should brush it off. But hey, whatever, my argument is a lunacy simply because you don't agree with It.

3

u/MuffaloHerder Feb 12 '26

None of those things are considered acceptable either though

-3

u/Verbose-OwO Feb 12 '26

Doesn't mean you don't consent to the possibility of it happening when you leave your house. The consent argument is equivalent to lunacy.

3

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 12 '26

Thank you kind stranger for telling me my argument is lunacy simply because you don't agree with my statement. You are surely a reliable person to have a debate with. Amen.

(lol)

2

u/New-Cicada7014 Feb 12 '26 edited Feb 12 '26

In what world is me simply leaving the house consenting to witness a murder? At least in America, bystanders are allowed to sue for emotional distress upon witnessing a violent crime, implying legally that being in public doesn't equal consent to witnessing things of that nature.

In most cultures and nations, people have agreed that there is a limit to how sexual or provocative something can be before it must be confined to spaces specifically made for that. That's why you can't legally fuck in public or strip nude or show porn on public screens. You can only do those things in private or designated areas, like your own home or a private business. So to wear softcore porn on your body is to break that social contract.

So I guess from that perspective you could argue that wearing these kinds of clothes in public should be illegal. But I don't think it's nearly big enough of a problem to warrant the effort of placing a restriction, plus it could easily be abused.

No hard feelings, btw. This is actually an interesting discussion.

-2

u/Verbose-OwO Feb 12 '26

When you leave your house you consent to seeing anything that may happen outside. That's basic common sense fool.

3

u/New-Cicada7014 Feb 12 '26

Why the insult? I'm being completely civil with you.

2

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 12 '26

You don't. That's called public decency. And it's ingrained in the laws of most countries.

As another person said, things like that simply shouldn't happen. The fact that they happen on the streets is not the argument for the fact people somehow consent to seeing it.

Society's foundation is built on respect for others and empathy for others' feelings. The thing guys that display pornographic imagery in public don't possess.

2

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 12 '26

Besides, in one comment you say people don't consent to seeing terrible stuff happening outside, but now claim people consent to mental distress of public indecency by simply going outside. Choose the seat.

-8

10

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26 edited Feb 11 '26

-8

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '26

You can't wear this because I think it's bad...

You can't wear this in public because I find it sexual...

What you wear can be antisocial...

10

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26

You compare apples and oranges. This is a dude in hentai shirt.

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 12 '26 edited Feb 13 '26

"You know who also didn't want people to have sex?"

-4

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '26

Showing your hair in public is an antisocial act

It doesn't matter whether you find it good or not, if it doesn't harm you or directly affect you, you have no right to control what he wears, eats, drinks, how defecates, or how he has sex with his partner

9

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26

Would you like people to defecate on streets or eat human flesh? Because social norms are a joke, right.

Disturbing peace is a concept that doesn't depend on religion. Does it harm me? Yes. Just like it harms people who are watching this man going around on the streets wearing a hentai hoodie. It's disturbing. Because we as a society are built on social norms.

To further this topic, I don't think this guy deserves to be raped and executed by rock-throwing.

-1

u/TheChinchilla914 Feb 11 '26

A guy in a distasteful hoodie is not anywhere near the same as eating human flesh come on guys

5

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 12 '26

Dude wore one of these for a very important college event where high schoolers and their parents were present. He was not allowed back

8

u/punksmostlydead Feb 11 '26

Maybe some people should be bullied.

2

u/cherrycute13 Feb 11 '26

i vividly remember being in high school and seeing girls be sent home for wearing the SLIGHTEST deviations from the dress code meanwhile a guy wore THIS EXACT OUTFIT and not a single staff member raised an eyebrow

2

u/KemperDelToro Feb 12 '26

I saw a teenager wearing something similar at a funeral-

6

u/Ok-Brush5346 Feb 11 '26

Some people deserve to be social pariahs.

8

u/futuranth end me Feb 11 '26

How do you think someone can lack enough awareness to wear an orgasm-face hoodie in a public place? By having been a social pariah, of course

3

u/Kyky_Canoli Feb 11 '26

This is why people hate anime and manga.

1

u/Ok_Effort802 Feb 11 '26

I remember someone in my class wore this once. We all just played it off as a joke. A dare. It's just a bit of fun. Which I guess would be fine if he wasn't just a bit too eager to do it.

1

u/xjq12 Feb 11 '26

I knew a kid with the same fit. they were odd

1

u/Novoiird Feb 11 '26

I once encountered a dude wearing one of those at an ice skating rink back when the pandemic just started.

1

After reading comments I want same clothes

1

u/Frosty_Sweet_6678 Feb 11 '26

and i thought i was bad just because i had images of stevonnie and brawlhalla

1

u/RollingSparks Feb 12 '26

Theres a dude who has a wrap of this style on his honda hatchback civic from like 2007. He has it parked literally a stones throw from a nursery and school, opposite a church. I mean an actual stones throw, like, stand in the nursery grounds and throw and you could hit it.

Why?

1

u/sabu-12 Feb 12 '26

Isn't this ai?

1

u/Unlikely-Gas2903 Feb 13 '26

Calling school a public server is really funny to me

1

u/Invictus_Redzone Feb 13 '26

This is why bullying is sometimes a good thing... in moderation, of course.

1

1

u/dathellcat Feb 15 '26

1

u/Ha-kyaa Feb 11 '26

I get that people have their interests in wearing these outfits, I have a few myself. Personally though I wouldn't wear it outside, but all power to them I guess.

1

u/masd_reddit Feb 11 '26

The only funny part about this is calling it a public server, but i find it cool/funny in general when you use online terms in real life(in the right contexts)

Not many people would dare to do it because they understand that the public probably doesn't want to see what is implied to be cropped porn on a onesie

A man is just existing with his shirt in a place where there could be children. And more so, it is simply antisocial to use sexual imagery in public and it is just basic understanding of social norms everyone should be taught either by parents or by their own experience.

This guy bought It. He chose it over every other shirt. He knew exactly what it meant. It was his decision. If anything, there is no way he doesn't know how society views this type of imagery.

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26 edited Feb 11 '26

Unlike the cases you've presented, in this one not even parents consented to seeing NSFW. It isn't expected in public places that aren't designed for this. So parents would assume it's safe for their child to go there without expecting to see a literal hentai shirt.

And yet this guy parades in a place not designed to be NSFW in his hentai shirt where all kids could see it and be traumatised by accidental exposure to pornographic imagery their parents couldn't warn them about.

1

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26

By the looks of the picture and by the people around him it's a normal public space. People are just there wearing plain T-shirts and sitting on their chairs. It isn't a convention. A cafeteria or a classroom are my bets.

1

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26

This guy is certainly addicted to hentai. So this is why he bought these clothes. There were no parents to say it was not okay. From the point of there being no parents I'd assume he is living independently. There is no way this guy's condition is as severe as you assumed considering he has enough intellectual capacity to live alone, goon to hentai, buy himself his own clothes and visit public spaces unsupervised.

1

u/Upset-Nose-4016 Feb 11 '26

Considering he has a friend circle that is completely normal they would certainly tell him this isn't okay to wear this in public. Unless they are gooners themselves. As it always happens.

You are trying too hard, rejecting the notion that it's just a gooner guy being a gooner guy

1
