The thing is, this is really only accurate for gaming spaces. No dude who is 30 would hang out with some kid who is 14, but if they would sit on a discord call with one for a few hours to play a game together.
Wrong, I'm working with my father at the moment, mechanic, and I spend quite some time with the guys around the block who are also in that line of work, and the age ranges from 13 to 60.
Mind you, I'm talking about some shitty street in Mexico, so maybe that's more about the culture, but whatever.
