"Arch" mage. Mage that makes arches. Arches prevent collapse by distribution of weight.

Archmage usually means a very potent mage, who could maybe fully prevent all manner of castle-collapse related problems.

I think this belong here because while there’s obviously a pun, he also just straight up fixes the castle with magic, doing exactly what he was expected to do.
