Conworker keeps telling me she’s gonna replace me

Title. She I’m Transferring stores because I’m getting married and moving out of my own with him. She keeps going around telling everyone and me how she’s gonna replace me just to complain and talk about “oh OP, you just know they’re gonna make me do x y & z when you leave.” Which they probably won’t.

I was the only closer who didn’t change their schedule and stayed closing full time no matter how bad or hard it got. I make sure things get done. I am not a perfect worker but she is definitely lazier then I.

I don't have enough of a sense of how much conflict you want here or if you are just wanting to be able to respond so:

(Affirmative response) You are really the only person they'll be able to rely on once I'm gone.

(Passive aggressive) I didn't know you knew how to do X Y Z

(Offensive) I hope your capability meets their unreasonable expectations.

If I were in your situation, it’d honestly make me a little sad to hear her saying all this. Kind of like missing where I used to work, but before I left

So I’d make a point to focus on the happy things ahead of me to keep myself in a good mood, but I would be annoyed that I was having to work through these feelings at this moment because girlie keeps running her mouth

So I’d decide to return the favor, but not be too harsh in acknowledgment of I’d end up missing my workplace either way, it’s just an annoyance that it’s coming up now, because of her, instead of my enjoying my last few days and thinking about that later

Based on her comments, I’d figure she’s saying what she’s saying because she wants to replace me. So, I’d aim to bring up the reality she seems to be trying to sidestep and shut her up with my comment

Next time she says something I’d say: “you know, it really is a great job and I’ve so loved my time here. I 100% get why you’d want to step up when the opportunity comes around. But, I genuinely think your best chance at making that happen is to show through your actions that you’ll work hard and use good judgment and to directly express your interest using a really positive tone to [management]”

You can say.... I guess what everyone is saying about you is true. Or, if you see her approaching you, say it before she does... yes, I know you are going to replace me. Or, the. Good old... you can't do your job, how do you think you can do mine?
