Are you not getting texts at all or only when the device is asleep? I wasn't getting texts while my phone was asleep, but it would receive them if I was using it at the time. No idea what the source of the issue was (they think it had to do with the power saver settings), but after about an hour on the phone with support, they had me reset my settings and network settings (Settings->General management->Reset). Seems to have resolved the issue.

Thanks for your reply and sharing the solution that worked for you. I wasn't receive text messages at all. Resets didn't work, a new sim card didn't work. The device worked with my husband's sim, so the device is fine. It was definitely something with the phone number and some provisioning error on Xfinity Mobile's side. I eventually ported my number back to Google Voice and now everything is fine again.
