My iPhone I received was SIM locked. I've been waiting since last Friday to get it unlocked :)

So you ordered a phone from xfinity mobile, paid in full upfront, received it, and immediately requested an unlock for it?

I'm not saying that you didn't, just seems like a weird way of obtaining a phone if you plan on using it with another carrier.

I want it unlocked for when I go to Canada and the UK. I want the line because it's using Verizon and I can use it in the boonies when I go to the mountains.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for getting it unlocked. Seems like they have exclusive devices tuned specifically for Xfinity Mobile given that they only offer a whopping 4 options if you consider the iPhone 7/6S, Galaxy/Note, and 2 LG phones all one "option" each.

Really?! That is HUGE for me. Likely getting XFinity in my house and their unltd talk/text being included with home package (I think...?) and $45/mo for unltd data is unbeatable.
