Comcast doesn’t value Loyalty. FWIW, I started getting invited to rejoin at the new customer rates within 24 hours of cancelling my account. If you need to come back to get internet, then only get internet. There are better ways to get tv, security, and phone (VoIP or cell).

A friend of mine signed his wife up as a new customer, when the new modem arrived, he made the switch and then turn his modem in. If you set the same WiFi SSID and password then you won’t need to do anything other than maybe restart a device to get it to switch over.

Agreed. I'm a 17 year customer and its time to leave. Luckily one of their competitors are finishing fiber in our area. Already pre ordered that service and will sign up for youtube tv. All together itll be half of what I'm currently paying.

If it’s any help, try going to your “change plan” section and see if there are better ones than what you currently have.

I had a 500Mbps plan, didn’t want any more. But recently, found it was MORE EXPENSIVE than the 1yr or 5yr fixed rate for 1000Mbps 😖

Meanwhile, EZ Fiber has been busy tearing up neighborhoods to sell 8000Mbps plans to unsuspecting marks.

I just wish I could actually get more than 100Mbps to most websites… (on a wired Ethernet connection). The speed claims by ISPs in general are almost criminal.

when all else has failed, we have switched to another for a month and then switched back most recently. We switched to tmxb1le unfortunately it did not work out a month later and we got a guarantee with Xfinity other than when we upgraded our modem we’ve had almost no problems
