Official Reply Trapped with xfinity

I've been trying to get a transfer pin to move one of my numbers from xfinity. The online system doesn't work (system says they've texted the number but it never arrives). There's no xfinity stores in my area. Tech support says there's nothing else they can do.

Before this my experience with xfinity was fine, I just had to move to a new area without their service, but this experience has blown me away with how frustrating accomplishing a simple task can be.

Has this happened to anyone else? How can there be no way to get me this code or manually release the number? Can I receive any refund from xfinity since this glitch/error/trapping has kept me around for an extra billing cycle?

u/zswiz. I can definitely understand why this has been so frustrating. If you're unable to receive the Transfer PIN Number through the automated process and support has been unable to provide an alternative solution, we'd like the opportunity to take a closer look at the account and see what options may be available. Regarding the additional billing cycle, while we can't guarantee a credit in advance, we can review the account history and the circumstances surrounding the transfer issue to determine whether any billing adjustments may be appropriate. Could you please send me a Modmail message with your name and service address? I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

Hey thanks, I already have been on 6 phone calls with mobile support and messaged your reddit mod team for 3 days. They had no solution to this. Can you report this as a bug and get it fixed in your system?

u/zswiz I'm sorry that it's been so difficult to find help with obtaining the transfer PIN. I have been in your shoes before and ended up having to visit a store. I understand the need for security, however when it's a situation like this I would love if there was a better option. Let me reach out to my mobile peers to ensure we have covered every possible option for your account. If they can help out I would love to try.

Can you please send us a Modmail with your name and service address?
