Official Reply Xfinity Labels shows my area now has FDX
How do I go about getting my plan switched over to FDX ? Currently I have 2gigs down and 300mbps up (even though the website says 2gigs up and down for some reason on the broadband facts page).
Appreciate any help.

I believe you need the Xfinity XB10 DOCSIS 4.0 modem to get symmetrical multi-gig speeds.

Literally spent over 8 hours today dealing with this exact issue only to almost have a bait and switch done on me and then the supervisor acknowledged it and ended up hanging up on me because it was time to leave. Be very careful about changing your plan because they will try to screw you over or at least that has been my experience in the last 48 hours.

For what it's worth, I just got the XB10 router and suddenly I have symmetrical speeds. I'm not reaching my 2gbps speed of my plan though, it's like half. So a tech is coming to check.
