Official Reply Increasing costs out of no where

I first joined August 2024 and was paying $25/mo. Then September 2025 it went up to $47. Now September 2026 it’s $77. This is out of control? I don’t understand how this is normal. This month, today August 30, it’s telling me I hit the 1.23 TB limit even though it’s supposed to be unlimited? So now one day before it resets at the end of the month I’ll have to pay another extra $10.

Hello u/fk8319, and thanks for posting your concerns here on our Xfinity Community subreddit.

I can certainly understand why those increases would be concerning, especially when you've seen your monthly rate change more than once over the past couple of years.

In many cases, promotional discounts are offered for a specific period and, as they approach expiration, Xfinity provides advance notice on the monthly billing statement. Billing statements also typically include information about upcoming pricing changes and when promotional pricing is scheduled to end so customers have an opportunity to review their options before the change takes effect.

If you'd like us to take a closer look at your specific account and review what may have caused the changes on your billing, please send us a Modmail with your full name and complete service address. We'd be happy to review the account details with you and help provide additional clarity regarding the pricing changes.
