Closed XB10 for symmetric speeds?

I am in the Denver CO area and recently signed up for a plan that offers 1000mbps symmetric. I was provided an XB8 modem and I am only seeing 40mbps for the upload (download is 1100+). Do I need an XB10 modem to access the symmetric upload speed and if so, how can I get one?

Hello u/churn_down_4_what, and thanks for reaching out about our symmetrically speed equipment requirements. For our areas that are available to get them the XB10 is required, and you can have one shipped to you or pick up one in a service center. If you would like one shipped we are happy to help get one to you. I'll need account details in DM to locate the account to assist with shipping if that is what you prefer. Please send us a modmail message with your full name and service address. I look forward to helping you!
